Hello! I'm a developer who enjoys creating games and immersive atmospheres, and I document my creative process.
I love atmospheric horror game environments, and I really love how Scott Cawthon approaches horror video games, especially with respect to Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location and Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator.
I enjoy Dani's RUclips-centric, goofy, game development documentary style, which emphasizes the story (and absurdity) of his video game creations rather than the exact technicalities of his game dev process. Great examples of this are He said I Couldn't Make a Multiplayer Survival Game... So I Made One! and They Said I Couldn't Make an Online Multiplayer Game... So I Made One!
I love Markiplier's approach to balancing confidence, humility, self-interest, and charity. I think his perspective and understanding of what it means to be human is really inspiring. Watch Markiplier's "Pain" and Watch This Video When You’re Feeling Down.

Hey just a random question but what was the hardest part of it?
Hardest part of making the game? (or playing it?) Hardest part of making the game for me was figuring out how to get the lighting to look good honestly. Getting the burying/emerging from the ground particles to look good also took a while. Setting up all the fences would have been impossible without a free fence placing tool from the Unity Asset Store. Oh, and the most annoying part was building a separate lightweight version of the game for low-end laptops every time I wanted to update the normal version of the game haha.

I have a idea and it is gambling but you don’t lose money or win money it just takes your money for a little bit like 1 minute and then gives it back to you or it gets you money for 1 minute before but it’s actually stolen money from a nextbot and it will be random nextbot and after a little bit the nextbot takes the money back idk it’s a idea and good luck with your game
This is a cool idea actually... it might be hard for me to properly communicate to the player what is happening (the rules of engagement might feel random or nonexistent) but I might find a way...
How’s the game going?
It's good! It was in a state that I didn't like for a while, but we're on a very upward trajectory now. Free demo will be here eventually. Sorry for the lack of videos haha, it makes more sense right now for me to grind gamedev than make more videos!
Could you add maxwell as a npc that helps PLEASE 🙏
What kind of help do you think would be fun to receive from an NPC? I'm adding a feature for super super easy image and audio modding, so Maxwell will be easily included
@derndeff how about trinkets for doing special tasks? The trinkets would give you some boosts like running faster, blinding the enemy's mid chase something like Jeff from roblox doors, and some npcs would have story missions. For example, you could get some of the discs from npcs, or the npcs would give you keys to access certain areas, and the areas would have some new enemies as a challenge and I already thought of what maxwell would give you, a cat audio decoy that lures in nearby nextbots so you can swiftly run by them! I hope these get added to PNG mall, and I hope this helped!

suggestion for new monster: the monster is a creepy smiling face and will appear on the player's screen and a green bar will appear and turn more red and kill you to prevent this you'll have to do a minigame in order to calm yourself down the more you calm down the more green the bar will be
